Did you know that for every day of the week, there is a God that rules that day? Not only that, but each day of the week is ruled by a specific planet?
SUNDAY
Sunday is dedicated to Lord Surya or Suryanarayana, the Sun God, in Hinduism.
Devotees fast on this day, seeking this god's blessings for a healthy and prosperous life. Red and red flowers are offered to Lord Surya as part of this day's ritual. Those who fast on Sunday eat only one meal a day and that is before sunset. Avoid salt, oil and fried foods on this day.
What should you wear?
