Letting God be God.

Recently I found myself no longer questioning what God can do to change things for the better in my life, I've seen myself no longer hoping that God could hear my specific prayers begging for fillers than I desired to help the void that grows within, but recently I stopped asking and started waiting. I had a conversation with God, asking to be provided some freedom from a certain situation, however what I desired I did not receive previously. Today, I found myself envisioning asking God personally, and this time I said " if you want to, or don't if you don't". This power that I know that God has, I refused to let God have it. I just realized that it wasn't God's miracles that I desired to see, it was my ability to control everything God was capable of for my own intents. I realized that I was fishing for rulership, not companionship. I was looking for a transaction with a non-human spirit. Do not ask God to be everything your human mind can form to bring joy and success to your human life, ask God to be God, and see what it provides you from doing so. After all, it wasn't our ideas to come here and suffer in these ways, it was Gods divine plan.
